Drew is a Corporate and Commercial Solicitor based in Preston, covering a range of work for individual clients and businesses in a number of areas, both contentious and non-contentious, in Commercial and Corporate, Intellectual Property (IP), Defamation and Employment.

Drew undertook a Solicitor Apprenticeship starting in September 2018. He graduated with a Law degree from City University of London in Summer of 2022, and completed the Solicitor Qualifying Exams in Summer 2024, qualifying as a Solicitor in September 2024.

Experience and Expertise

Drew’s experience prior to joining Vincents was in Criminal Law having worked for the Crown Prosecution Service in Preston for 8 years where he started his Solicitor Apprenticeship. This gave him good experience of working in the public sector with external stakeholders.  Additionally, Drew gained advocacy experience in magistrates court across the Northwest and also working directly with barristers at Crown courts.

Drew started work with Vincents Solicitors initially on a 12-month secondment in June 2022, completing his first 6 months in the property team at Lytham, working on both residential and commercial property. For the second 6 months, he worked in the Corporate and Commercial department, where he now works full-time.

Drew is now a practicing Solicitor and covers a variety of work, including buying and selling of businesses, drafting, review and advising on business contracts, business disputes, advising on settlement agreements, protecting IP and IP related disputes, and defamation matters.

Outside of work Drew enjoys music events and sports, which are both areas of law he is looking to develop expertise in, and use his Corporate and Commercial background to support clients in the music and sports industries.
