New trainee appointment at Lytham
New trainee appointment for Mary E Lowe in Lytham
A boutique Lytham law firm, which provides a bespoke service for high-net-worth individuals, has appointed its first in-house trainee. Chloe Santoni has joined Mary E Lowe at Vincents Solicitors in Park Street Lytham.
Chloe completed her law degree at the University of Chester, and her LPC and Masters at the University of Manchester. A former St Bedes High School pupil, Chloe has lived in Lytham for many years and has previously worked in popular bars and restaurants Barrique, The Deacon, and Spago.
Chloe is the first trainee to be based exclusively at the Park Street practice, which opened in 2021 when renowned local divorce lawyer Mary Lowe joined forces with Lancashire law firm Vincents Solicitors. The branch also supports trainees from across the wider business who undertake part of their training with Mary’s team; Beth Laws is currently working in the Wills and Probate department and Deanna Coker is also undertaking her family law seat there.
Chloe said: “I wanted to remain working in Lytham, with the people and businesses I’ve known for years, and once I met the team at Mary E Lowe I wasn’t for moving. Mary and the team are amazing, I love the personal touch the firm delivers, they really know and care about their clients.
“The work is extremely interesting, with cases which see us travelling round the country, and it is very satisfying to help clients through a very difficult period in their lives, to planning for a more positive future. My ambition is to offer the full Private Client package, where I’ll look after all of my client’s private and family-related legal needs as Mary does. I really couldn’t be in a better place for my training and I’m so grateful to the firm for this opportunity.”
Initially working in family law alongside Mary herself, Chloe is currently assisting with divorce and financial settlement cases before moving onto her second seat later this year where she will benefit from the expertise of private client specialists Chris Mathews and Sean Aldridge as she learns everything there is to know about estate planning, wills, trusts, probate, and inheritance tax planning. In her third seat she will deal with property matters under Mary’s highly experienced conveyancing team, Callum Dudley and Rhian Cummings.
Chloe’s enthusiasm and professional manner, coupled with her legal knowledge and business acumen, make her the ideal trainee says new boss Mary Lowe. Mary said: “Chloe really impressed during her placement, demonstrating a keen legal knowledge alongside business acumen, a pleasant, confident manner, and a strong desire to help our clients.
“We have to go above and beyond in this job and be willing to put our client’s needs front and centre at all times, and I am very fortunate to have a fantastic team and three great trainees who are all dedicated to that approach.”
Following successful completion of exams throughout the training period, and successful completion of each seat, trainees can then apply to the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) for approval to become a fully qualified solicitor.
Chloe is one of four new trainees appointed by Vincents this year. The firm is committed to investing in new talent via its in-house training programme, providing opportunities for Trainee Solicitors, Apprentice Solicitors, paralegals and legal assistants to upskill and qualify.
