Biography

Drew is a Solicitor Apprentice due to qualify in Summer 2024, having a Law degree from City University of London. He is a trainee working in the Corporate and Commercial department, also dealing with IP and Employment Law.

Drew has previous experience in Criminal Law, having worked for the Crown Prosecution Service in Preston for 8 years where he started his Solicitor Apprenticeship. This gave him good experience of working in the public sector with external stakeholders, as well as gaining advocacy experience in Magistrates Court across the Northwest and working directly with barristers at Crown courts.

Drew joined Vincents initially on a 12-month secondment, completing his first six months in the property team at Lytham, working on both residential and commercial property. This was his first experience working at a private practice and gave him a good basis for working for different clients and accommodating their specific needs.

For the second six months of his secondment, Drew worked in the Corporate and Commercial department. Here he gained experience working for individual clients and businesses in a range of areas, both contentious and non-contentious, in Commercial and Corporate, Intellectual Property (IP), Defamation and Employment.

Drew is now in a full-time position at Vincents in the Corporate and Commercial department, covering a variety of areas, supervised by Michael Sandys whilst he finishes his training.

Drew enjoys working with businesses and individuals in a wide range of sectors to achieve their specific needs, something he finds rewarding.
